Badminton England recently embarked on a Smash Up! nationwide PE Takeover Tour, visiting schools throughout the UK to deliver Smash Up! sessions to pupils.
Deep Red worked closely with the Badminton England team to develop tour materials to support and promote this initiative. Large format graphics, pop up stands, along with augmented reality posters helped spread the word and get 1600 schools and over 40,000 pupils attending Smash Up! sessions every week!
Sports Minister Tracey Crouch visited Kingsdale Foundation School in Southwark to see the latest stage of the tour. Miss Crouch commented "It was great to see how badminton is inspiring young people to take up the sport in schools, encouraging them to get active."
Deep Red have been responsible for the complete look and feel of the Smash Up! programme since it's launch 2 years ago. 2015 has seen development of new graphics as the programme has grown and eveloved.
The Deep Red team are proud to be associated with such a successful inititative in getting young people active and enthusaistic about sport.
