Competing to be heard in the noisy student market is always a challenge, and so when Deep Red were charged with devising a student acquistion campaign for national sports bar chain, Rileys, we knew that we would need to come up with some compelling creative ideas. We decided to devise a campaign which was all about interaction. Using a fairgorund 'roll up roll up' theme, we developed a spin the wheel to win game and a fun 'head in the hole' board. Staff members wore t-shirts with a QR code for students to scan and sign-up to become a member, which then allowed them a spin of the wheel to win any number of prizes. All topped off with free popcorn. What's not to like!
